In the middle 90-s, in the European union there become a strong necessity of creation the uniform standard of safety of children's playgrounds. In 1998 having united substantive provisions of national standards, having lead greater technical and согласовательную work, the European Committee of Standardization has approved, obligatory for the countries of the European Union, the standard - EN 1176 : 1998. In 2000 "KSIL", unique from domestic manufacturers of the equipment of children's playgrounds, has passed certification of production on.

In 1999 "KSIL" together with other organizations, under the methodical control of Gosstandart, has begun the development of the national standard for the Russian Federation on the children's playgrounds equipment safety. Considering that "KSIL" is the leading manufacturer of the children's game equipment, has own structures for testing the equipment, and also our experience of application of the European standards and cooperation with international certified center TUV Product Service, in 2003 Gosstandart centre of certification - of Russian Federation called "KSIL" like a base organisation of technical committee for "Standardization of playground equipment".
